Statewide Coalition

The Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model is the CDC’s integrated framework of health and learning. The child is at the center of the model and surrounded by three layers: coordination of policies, processes, and practices in schools; 10 components for organizing school practices; and finally, the community in which the school is situated.

The Connecticut WSCC Partnership established a state-level WSCC coalition and began meeting in September 2024. It is comprised of individuals and organizations who can work together to influence WSCC-aligned policies, practices, programs, and services throughout Connecticut. Members hold expertise across components of the WSCC Model.

To help summarize all statewide activities surrounding the WSCC model, we have created individual webpages for all 10 domains. Each page contains a list of legislation that has been passed since 2020 and any active state programs related to the domain.
