Introduction

Goal

The goal of the CT WSCC Partnership is to protect and improve the health and well-being of school-age children and adolescents in communities in CT that are medically underserved and disproportionately affected by chronic diseases and associated risk factors. We support the implementation of evidence-based policies, practices, programs, and services statewide and specifically in East Hartford Public Schools, through delivery of

  • professional development and technical assistance;
  • assessment and action planning tools; and
  • collaboration with state-level, district-level, and school-level health coalitions, councils, and teams.
