- Public Act No. 22-81
- To address pandemic impact on childhood depression, anxiety and developmental delays through the expansion of support services. Requires local and regional boards of education to adopt policies addressing the withholding of recess as a form of student discipline and specifies requirements and limitations for these policies.

- Physically Active School Systems (PASS)
- An award program that provides recognition to schools that embrace guidance from the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, that “children and adolescents ages 6 through 17 years should do 60 minutes (1 hour) or more of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity daily.”
